Brooklyn Hotel Group (BHG) was founded in 2012 to address the significant shortage of lodging options in the historically underserved borough of Brooklyn. Despite a population of more than 2.7 million residents, Brooklyn has approximately 15,000 hotel rooms, representing one of the lowest ratios of hotel rooms per capita among major U.S. cities.
