BHG specializes in the identification, acquisition and development of hotel properties in emerging submarkets.
As leaders in hospitality and lodging solutions, we are actively pursuing new acquisitions and joint ventures with owners of property that offer strong locations for hotel development.
Current and previous projects are featured below.
17 Seabring StreetBROOKLYN, NEW YORK
Brooklyn Hotel Group (BHG) acquired an 81 room Comfort Inn hotel in Red Hook, Brooklyn in 2016. The Comfort Inn was underperforming and not a good ‘fit’ for an area that is quickly becoming a destination for tourists, individuals and new families looking for an authentic Brooklyn neighborhood. BHG repositioned the hotel brand, management team and design of the property into the Lodge Red Hook hotel. The Lodge Red Hook is a local contemporary select-service boutique hotel which serves the community and guests in a more sophisticated hospitality venue that incorporates the energetic elements of Red Hook. The new hotel features select amenities and complimentary breakfast which are crafted locally. These efforts have further enhanced the alignment of the property with the surrounding neighborhood. All sectors of hotel performance have benefited from this rebranding and repositioning.
